General Pricing
Each watch or clock is unique. The pricing reflects a price that one can generally expect.
Factors that may increase the price are the availability of parts such as mainsprings, pricing of clock mainsprings and the number of problems that may be labor intensive.
The price includes the complete disassembly of the movement thorough ultrasonic cleaning, Pivot polishing on a lathe, bushing replacement as needed, All bushings polished, oiling (synthetic oil) and the cleaning and lubrication of the mainsprings. All steel contact point are polished. There is much much more to a restoration that gets technical and specific to each clock or watch.
New Mainsprings and other parts that need to be purchased will require an additional fee.
Shipping prices, parts prices and spring prices have jumped dramatically. I dislike raising prices but based on my extensive servicing and rising costs I had to increase the cost of restorations.
